We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join the DNSFilter GTM organization to bolster and continue our growth plans. As a BDR, you will be the tip of the spear for growth at DNSFilter. Your primary focus will be to generate a qualified pipeline for our Sales team. You'll accomplish this by following up on various leads and strategically prospecting into accounts. This team member will be integral in the conversion of marketing campaigns to qualified pipeline and sales for DNSFilter.

Eligible candidates have worked successfully in a small to mid-sized fast-paced, hyper-growth, SaaS start-up or scale-up.

This is a full-time hourly role eligible for candidates available to work full-time in our Tampa (Westchase), Florida office.

In thie role, you will: 

• Proactively reach out to potential prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Process and qualify inbound leads promptly to generate new sales opportunities
• Effectively collaborate very closely and consistently with Sales reps, including but not limited to Account Executives and Partner Development Managers, fueling the revenue engine
• Utilize prospecting tools to connect with decision-makers in SMB and mid-market companies, orchestrating discovery calls
• Detail Salesforce with precise insight, equipping our Sales Team with crucial intelligence
• Engage and nurture leads generated by our marketing team
• Travel up to 25% for in-person conferences to generate qualified leads and opportunities

 

To qualify for this role, you have:

• Located in the Tampa, FL area and able to work on-site from our Tampa office
• Cold calling and Outbound prospecting experience (hard requirement)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and project management capabilities
• Fearless over the phone
• 1-3 years of experience as a SaaS BDR/SDR
• 1-3 years of experience working in Salesforce (or similar CRM), Outreach.io (or similar), and sales/marketing tools like phone dialers (nooks), 6sense, Zoominfo, etc
• Experience and understanding of working every lead with urgency (i.e. "lead to speed")
• A tech enthusiast with a passion for leveraging technology
• Ability to travel to industry trade shows, events, and meet-ups
• MSP or Cybersecurity Experience

Bonus points for: 

• Cybersecurity and/or similar technical experience
• Experience with Challenger selling methodology and BANT qualification

DNSFilter is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is an opportunity to advance your compensation based on performance over time. The hiring base pay is dependent on several factors, including level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic location. As a hybrid company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets. Our Talent Team can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

The OTE for this role is $90,000
