Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.

• Provide short-term psychotherapy and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, allowing students to express their emotions and cope with challenges.

• Offer consultation services to educators and school staff to develop supportive strategies that address student wellness and promote mental health awareness.

• Lead outreach activities and workshops to inform students and families about available mental health resources.

• Engage in crisis assessment and intervention services, including risk assessments for suicidal ideation, and coordinate hospitalization when necessary.

• Document all clinical interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records for ongoing treatment continuity.

• Maintain an active role in professional development through participation in training sessions that focus on school mental health issues and therapeutic techniques.

• Utilize various digital health platforms to facilitate remote services as needed, ensuring students receive timely support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with a diverse population of adolescents and college-age students. You will engage with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. Your interventions will encompass managing emotional and behavioral struggles, providing essential coping strategies, and guiding them toward a path of resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a valid LCSW license. Candidates with full LMHC licensure will also be considered.

• A minimum of three (3) years of post-master's clinical experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.

• A background in case management and the ability to implement treatment plans that address specific adolescent developmental needs.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
