Plant Foreman

Location: Platte Valley Agg CO Job Req ID: 17182 Plant Foreman About The Role The Foreman is responsible for the daily aggregate activity and operations for their specific area. What You’ll Accomplish Oversees the overall safety of all personnel working at, or visiting the site. Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, State and Federal laws and regulations. Coordinates tasks according to priorities and plans, executing daily production plans in the most efficient manner. Allocates general and daily responsibilities. Coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment. Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules. Ensures manpower and resources are adequate. Ensures proper documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports. Ensures operators of stationary and mobile equipment are adequately trained to efficiently and safely perform the task. Acts as a go-to resource for troubleshooting plant malfunctions, SAP and other special needs. Escalates employee relations and serious plant issues to Production Supervisor and/or Plant Management for resolution. Reports on progress to Quarry Supervisor with dotted line report to Production Supervisor. Willing to work flexible schedule as business needs change. What We're Looking For Required Education: High School diploma/GED. Required Work Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong oral and written communication skills. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and the proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
