Sous Chef

Job Summary Working as the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department at a facility. Key Responsibilities A management role, supporting the company core values and F&B program. Assist in implementing new recipes, culinary activations, and menu items in collaboration with the Executive Production Chef. Work with the Executive Chef to direct production and on‑site execution of new recipes. Facilitate and conduct training with the Executive Chef and BOH teams as needed. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain quality control and production standards. Support special projects such as tastings, high‑level production, media requests, promotions, and photo shoots. Ensure compliance with safety standards, safe food preparation practices, and emergency preparedness requirements. Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food production, preparation and presentation. Assist in menu development, inventory, ordering/purchasing, food cost controls, sanitation, counseling, coaching, and training. Preferred Qualifications A degree or certificate in Culinary Arts. Minimum two to three years of culinary/kitchen experience, depending on formal education. ServSafe certification.
