Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their unique needs and recovery goals.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities, ensuring they understand the exercises and their importance in the recovery process.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to facilitate recovery.
• Carefully monitor and document patient progress during each session, relaying any significant changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for injury prevention and how to perform home exercise programs effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure a seamless continuum of care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace LLC, you will primarily serve outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, surgery, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Proven proficiency in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education methodologies.
