Job Overview: A law firm seeks an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its office in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for attorneys with 3-6 years of experience in insurance defense litigation to contribute to a growing practice. Duties Propose litigation strategies and communicate with clients and opposing counsel. Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions. Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, negligent security, professional liability, and wrongful death claims. Admitted and in good standing in New Jersey; additional state admissions are a plus. Strong litigation background with excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Familiarity with NJ Courts' rules and procedures. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in New Jersey.
