As a Security Officer - Corporate Highrise Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Wed: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Thur: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Fri: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sat: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with location protocols and assigned post orders. Support day‑to‑day operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and communicating professionally with staff, customers, and first responders when needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
