Job Description As a Security Officer - Highrise Corporate Building Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:30 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:30 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:30 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues. Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document daily events, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Assist with directing visitors, answering questions, and supporting a professional environment while helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrol presence and attentive observation. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
