This pivotal role requires exceptional Leadership and Management capabilities to oversee all aspects of warehousing, inventory management, and operations management. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement process initiatives, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and superior customer service within our supply chain. You will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that align with our business objectives, utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and implement effective problem-solving solutions. This role demands strong communication and organizational skills to manage complex logistics and foster a productive team environment, maintaining a detail-oriented approach to all tasks.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through effective training and development.Oversee daily operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.Implement and manage inventory control and management strategies, conducting regular auditing to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize workflow, space utilization, and labor efficiency.Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for Process Improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.Champion continuous improvement process initiatives, leveraging data and team input to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.Effectively communicate operational performance, challenges, and solutions to senior management and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication skills.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining a detail-oriented approach to all tasks.3-5 years of progressive management experience in a distribution or Warehousing environment.Demonstrated experience of leading operations, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives.Thorough knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their application in optimizing distribution processes.Comprehensive knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their use in driving operational excellence.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of fostering team development.Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to managing complex operations.Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in implementing Continuous Improvement Process methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Familiarity with Forklift Truck operations and safety protocols.Proven ability to enhance Customer Service through efficient distribution practices.Experience with Auditing processes for quality and compliance.Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision PackageFree company paid basic group term life insuranceOver three weeks of paid time off401(k) Matching ProgramSeven paid Company HolidaysTEAM environmentTraining, managerial support and growthEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
