Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their specific needs and concerns.

• Develop individual treatment plans tailored to each patient, taking developmental stages and family dynamics into account.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation, to effectively address various mental health disorders.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and improve service delivery while staying updated on the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
