Key Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of teaching experience in special education or ESL
• Valid LBS1 Teacher Certification and PEL required
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Fluent in Spanish; strong command of literacy concepts
• Dedication to helping low-income students achieve college and career readiness
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible, creative approach to evolving classroom needs
• Mastery of academic content and behavioral interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varied learning needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in literacy and content areas
• Manage and support a diverse caseload of approximately 30 K-8 students
• Foster academic, socio-emotional, and behavioral growth
• Collaborate with the school team to ensure holistic student support
• Employ superior knowledge of curriculum and interventions, always aiming for excellence
