Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
• Previous experience or strong desire to support middle school learners in a co-taught environment
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Co-teach 7th grade ELA and Math in collaboration with general education partners
• Support a caseload of 10 students, focusing on those with reading and/or math IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive classroom, supporting students mainstreamed for academics, specials, lunch, and recess
• Monitor, document, and report student progress; adapt instruction to individual learning needs
