Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify student needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their academic goals and emotional well-being.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual student circumstances.

• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, parents, and school counselors, to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with best practices and emerging research in mental health and educational psychology.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve K-12 students who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work with diverse student backgrounds, providing culturally competent care and adapting your methodologies to meet varying needs. By fostering a trusting counselor-student relationship, you will guide students towards developing coping skills and resilience that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a current Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) license in Nevada.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome candidates with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience working as a Social Worker, particularly in school settings or with children and adolescents. Compensation and Benefits\n
