Overview
Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) travel assignment in Carbondale, Illinois, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,629 to $2,658. Shift is Days with call as required in a hospital setting. This is a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide circulating or scrub support in the cardiovascular operating room during CVOR cases, maintaining sterile technique and assisting the surgical team.
- Prepare the OR, position the patient, anticipate instrument and equipment needs, manage implants, and ensure accurate counts and turnover.
- Monitor the patient intraoperatively, collaborate with anesthesia, manage equipment, and document intraoperative events and safety checks.
- Verify patient identity, conduct time-out procedures, and uphold infection control and safety policies throughout the case.
- Float to clinically appropriate units as needed within scope of practice and licensure, supporting team needs and patient care continuity.

Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to work in a CVOR setting with floating to clinically appropriate units as needed, within the scope of practice
- Willingness to work days with call as required for the assignment
