Accounts Payables Specialist

: This position is responsible for all phases of the accounts payables section of the bank. This position will be responsible for the training of others in the accounts payable function. The position shall also be responsible for preparing various reports as assigned on a scheduled or intermittent basis, and assisting other department and branch personnel with accounting entries. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience, at least 3-4 years of experience in Accounting (preferably in accounts payables), strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; including bank staff, management, customers, and vendors. strong PC skills; working knowledge of all common Office applications (i.e. Word & Excel) and internet application, strong team player, strong organizational skills and detail oriented with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines.
