Desired Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Special Education Certification (or eligibility for reciprocity; processing can take up to 6 weeks)
• Proven experience teaching special education, preferably in a self-contained or small-group setting
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementation strategies
• Strong commitment to fostering social, academic, and behavioral growth
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with support staff, families, and school teams
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for making a positive impact on students’ lives
