Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include: Facilitating therapy sessions with couples as well as offering individual therapy for each partner, ensuring holistic and comprehensive care. Addressing a variety of issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, psychological trauma, grief, family conflicts, and adjustment challenges related to separation and divorce. Implementing therapeutic interventions that promote open communication, strengthen relationships, and resolve conflicts within families and between individuals. Developing treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, continually assessing and adjusting approaches as necessary. Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes while adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards. Participating in regular supervision and peer consultations to enhance clinical practices and professional development. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will involve a diverse range of client demographics, including adults and children/adolescents. You will be specially trained to handle sensitive topics such as: Grief and Loss Issues Job Stress and Work-Life Imbalance Family Dynamics and Blended Family Challenges Communication Barriers Your expertise will be vital in addressing these challenges and supporting clients through their most difficult times, strengthening their relationships and improving individual mental health outcomes. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications: Active License as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts. A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution. Preferred Experience We value the diverse experiences of our staff. While we welcome newly licensed professionals, experience in various therapeutic modalities and settings will be considered a plus. Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to a minimum of 30 hours per week will also be viewed favorably.
