Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite and be part of a dedicated clinical team, including two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The facility is designed to provide a healing environment, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology to support a high standard of patient care. Our typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans focused on achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in direct patient care, managing a patient load of approximately one individual per hour.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques for orthopedic conditions, while ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment regimens that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities aimed at improving motion and mobility.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights on treatment developments.
• Motivate and support patients during their recovery journey to ensure they maximize involvement in their rehabilitation program.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly based on progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. It is crucial to understand each patient's unique background and physical requirements to provide personalized and effective care. Your role will significantly impact their recovery by enhancing strength, balance, and overall physical function.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in California with a valid state license, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess at least three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care, showcasing your proficiency and expertise.
• No prior board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skillset and an ability to develop and execute effective exercise programs.
• Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
