Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, located in the vibrant community of Fremont, CA. The center is designed to create an inviting atmosphere for patients, offering a collaborative space that promotes teamwork among healthcare professionals. Our work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, provides a structured and balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to understand their needs and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a patient caseload, ensuring personalized attention through a maximum of one patient per hour.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques through evidence-based modalities that facilitate rehabilitation, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive treatment plans based on individual patient goals and progress, employing a multidisciplinary approach where necessary.
• Empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals by motivating them throughout their treatment and providing necessary encouragement.
• Document all treatment procedures, progress, and outcomes accurately using EMR software, such as WebPT to facilitate seamless communication with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Explore non-surgical interventions to promote recovery while minimizing dependence on medications, emphasizing a proactive approach to health.
• Communicate openly with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and any needed adjustments.
• Participate in continual learning and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, injuries from sports or accidents, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. As a Physical Therapist at Arcadia, you will work closely with diverse patient demographics, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual while fostering an environment of empathy and support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Must have a minimum of three years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• No previous board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities, such as functional movement assessments and therapeutic ultrasound.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus an extensive benefit package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
