Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / ER Holding – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), Tuesday through Thursday. 36 hours per week with every other weekend coverage required. This is a 13-week travel assignment.

Highlights:

• ER Holding unit with medical-surgical level of care in a Rapid Admit Unit setting
• Manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on all shifts
• First-time travelers welcome with appropriate experience
• 24-hour paid orientation with onsite module completion
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations with a daily census of 12

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:4 or similar
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line management, IV therapy, and wound care
• Knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management, isolation precautions, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must reside outside of 50-mile local radius
• Willingness to float to similar units within scope as needed
• Ability to complete required labs within 48 business hours of contract signing
