We are seeking an experienced, organized, and hands-on Commercial Property Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with strong property management, financial reporting, and tenant relations experience who can confidently oversee day-to-day operations and work directly with ownership.

Position Summary

The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and administration of a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This role requires extensive experience with Yardi Breeze , strong financial and operational oversight capabilities, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, an effective communicator, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management & Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day management of commercial and residential properties.
• Manage and maintain property records, lease documentation, rent rolls, and tenant files.
• Monitor commercial CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges and reconciliations.
• Address tenant concerns and resolve property-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure property standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance and operational needs.

Financial Management

• Manage all aspects of property accounting within Yardi Breeze.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership and senior management.
• Generate detailed financial and operational reports for individual properties and tenants.
• Perform monthly auditing and review processes to safeguard company assets.
• Monitor property performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.

Tenant & Lease Administration

• Maintain strong relationships with commercial and residential tenants.
• Review and administer leases, renewals, amendments, and tenant records.
• Track insurance requirements and perform tenant insurance audits.
• Ensure compliance with lease terms and property policies.
• Handle correspondence, notices, and professional business communications.

Human Resources & Compliance

• Support HR-related functions, including workers' compensation administration and compliance tracking.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate insurance and risk management requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial property management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Yardi Breeze .
• Experience managing both commercial and residential real estate portfolios.
• Knowledge of lease administration, rent rolls, CAM charges, and property financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with ownership and team members.

Preferred

• Experience with tenant insurance compliance and auditing.
• Human Resources and workers' compensation administration experience.
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or real estate finance.
