Job Location: Remote, USA Role Summary The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides support to one or more manufacturing plants in the US. The AP processor is responsible for the accurate and timely payment to vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as government laws and regulations, departmental process improvements, and systems maintenance/upgrades while maintaining good internal and external customer relationships. Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Sort, code, batch and enter invoices into the A/P system as required
• Maintain and file all invoices and other applicable supporting documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Research invoice discrepancies and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist A/P Supervisor in software/systems projects as needed; upgrades, testing, data migration
• Review and verify AP duplicate payment post audit requests
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• May require travel to Harrisonville , MO plant, especially during initial training period

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required, college degree preferred
• 3+ years of A/P or related experience

Skills and Competencies

• Working knowledge of SAP, MS Word and Excel required.

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external business contacts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Good judgment
