Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans for clients, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.
• Deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy using various evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and continuity of services for clients.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with diverse populations, including individuals tackling anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health issues. This role requires a compassionate approach to empower clients on their journey toward healing, especially those with barriers to accessing traditional care.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Georgia.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex cases.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems and telehealth technologies as part of service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly advantageous.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is appreciated as collaboration is key to our approach.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
