Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient histories, physical assessments, and functional abilities to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their insights and goals into the treatment process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with best practices and adapt these protocols as patients progress in their recovery.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Document all patient care activities timely and accurately, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans, to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and support continuity of care.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule for patient appointments and team meetings.
• Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and patient access; participate in marketing efforts that promote our rehabilitation services.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills, staying current with industry trends and contributing to the instruction of clinical students.
• Provide exceptional patient service; adapt care strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy practice serves a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We take pride in our personalized approach, treating each patient as an individual and working diligently to tailor rehabilitation strategies that address their specific challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited academic program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Valid CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergencies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and billing processes.
• Prior involvement in patient education initiatives or community outreach programs.

Compensation and Benefits
