As a remote facility, our Community Health Clinic is designed to support the well-being of both patients and staff. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, which enhances treatment delivery and fosters a supportive culture of shared knowledge and empathy. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, allowing you to work during regular business hours while effectively managing your time between professional obligations and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to measure the frequency, intensity, and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ daily lives.

• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment goals and develop strategic and effective treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to support individuals experiencing symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders.

• Offer educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families, covering areas such as mood disorder management, treatment modalities, and self-care practices.
\n
• Track clients' progress throughout the therapeutic process, ensuring continuous evaluation and adjustment of treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health research and best practices related to mood disorders to provide cutting-edge care.

• Maintain thorough, confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, upholding the highest legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in professional development initiatives, case consultations, and team meetings to share insights and improve clinical competencies.

• Advocate for client needs and the destigmatization of mental health conditions, helping to create a supportive community both within and outside our clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals dealing with a range of mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to therapy that respects and acknowledges the unique challenges they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
\n
• Valid experience in providing evidence-based treatment for mood disorders, with proficiency in methodologies such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong collaborative skills with an understanding of psychopharmacology to work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams effectively.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes for clients over various treatment periods.

• Exceptional communication skills, ensuring the establishment of trust and rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focused on mood disorders preferred.
