This remote position allows counselors to maintain a flexible schedule while providing care through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize crisis management techniques and de-escalation strategies in high-stress situations to ensure client safety.

• Systematically collect, maintain, and analyze patient data to track progress and inform treatment decisions, using evidence-based practices.

• Create and uphold a safe, confidential, and therapeutic virtual environment while maintaining professional presentation in all communications.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health care, including knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, each with distinct challenges ranging from general mental health issues to specific conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Familiarity with pediatric mental health care and understanding developmental considerations across the lifespan will enhance your effectiveness in addressing the needs of our clients. Building rapport with a broad demographic requires strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to client advocacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, along with current licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or an Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-A).

• Minimum of one year of counseling experience in behavioral or mental health settings.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed practices and various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and a proficiency in documentation and digital tools necessary for effective telehealth practice.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing mental health and/or integration counseling services with an understanding of current research and practices, including professional psychedelic integration counseling.

• Exposure to systems of care and data collection protocols within mental health settings.

• Lived experience within mental health, education, or healthcare systems that brings a unique perspective to your clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
