Associate Accounting Analyst

Under the direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) in the General Fund/Federal Fund Reporting Unit, the Associate Accounting Analyst will perform as a staff specialist assisting the Accounting Administrator I, (Specialist) with highly complex fiscal activities that have multifunctional and/or multi-geographical impact. This position will have the responsibility for completion of highly complex fiscal activities relating to federal funding including completion of the complex monthly, quarterly, and annual federal reporters for 5 formula grants and 3 discretionary grants. This position is also responsible for the complex accountability, cash management and financial reporting of all Federal funds of the Department; various Special Funds; and Statewide Cost Allocation Program (SWCAP) transfers. This position will be responsible for working with internal and external auditors in regard to the federal funding and grants.
