Staff Accountant$65,000-$70,000Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a well-established healthcare-focused nonprofit with a 150-year history of serving the community Convenient Metro-accessible location at Gallery Place Competitive compensation with a clear path to a permanent position Consistent Monday-Friday schedule with a 35-hour workweek Gain exposure to a variety of accounting functions including GL, investments, deferred revenue, and reconciliations Opportunity to work in a collaborative accounting team supporting a mission-driven organization Build experience with nonprofit accounting processes and financial operationsKey Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant:Prepare and post journal entries Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations Reconcile and record electronic credit card transactions Process investment-related journal entries and deferred revenue recognition Provide backup support for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requestedQualifications For The Staff Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 3-5 years of accounting experience Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Experience with iMIS and/or Great Plains is a plus
