Benefits Manager
The Benefits Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration, compliance, and operational delivery of U.S. health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs. This role ensures that all benefit programs are administered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations, while delivering high-quality employee experience.
This position is a subject matter expert on US benefits and partners closely with the VP of HR, Global Reward Director, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to execute benefit programs aligned with the organization's overall Total Rewards strategy. Responsibilities include overseeing the administration of all U.S. health and welfare programs, managing relationships with benefit carriers, brokers and third part administrators, leading annual Open Enrollment planning & execution, performing monthly premium reconciliation, maintaining and overseeing the benefits administration system, ensuring data integrity, ensuring compliance with all applicable U.S. Federal, State & local benefits regulations, overseeing COBRA administration, delivering employee benefits communications, partnering with HR and Legal on leave programs, supporting coordination of STD/LTD and workers' compensation interactions, overseeing the company's 401(k) plan, supporting with fiduciary processes, and supporting employee education on retirement planning and participation.
Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree HR, business or other related fields
Additional Qualifications: 7+ years of related work experience, strong knowledge of U.S. benefits & retirement laws and regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA), experience managing HRIS/benefits systems and vendor relationships, ability to communicate effectively, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, knowledge of Internet software, and MS Office software to include Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, proactive in identifying issues and driving resolution, strong collaborator across HR, Finance, Payroll, and vendors, focused on delivering a high-quality employee experience.

The total compensation for this position ranges from $120,293 - $180,439/yr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities of the applicant and the alignment with the internal team & market data). This role offers a competitive Business Profit Plan. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
