Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to understand patient needs and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Coordinate patient care effectively, ensuring that each individual receives the appropriate level of mental health support based on their specific circumstances.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and statistical reports as required by regulatory standards.

• Collaborate closely with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to mental health services for incarcerated individuals, ensuring they receive appropriate housing and treatment.

• Lead group therapy sessions in mental health observation units and contribute to the overall treatment environment within various institutional programs.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings with the Clinical Supervisor, engaging in reflective practice to enhance patient outcomes.

• Attend mental health and medical rounds to maintain a holistic approach to integrated care and treatment planning.

• Engage in case conferences to discuss patient treatment strategies, while considering recommendations for those in need of mental health services.

• Conduct psychological testing as required, to support comprehensive assessment processes.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to social work interns or student volunteers when assigned.

Qualifications\n
