Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral needs, documenting findings meticulously from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' unique circumstances.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to foster engagement and support healing.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes for mental health and well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, physicians, and social workers, to formulate and enhance intervention strategies.

• Coordinate care with external providers, including following up with psychiatrists for clients requiring medication management or hospitalization.
\n
• Educate and assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, offering tools and resources for effective support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your compassionate and skilled approach will help clients from all walks of life in their journeys toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state.
\n
• A successful pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, with a proven track record of managing client cases effectively through remote platforms.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices as they relate to treatment and client care.
\n
• Experience addressing clients' underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
