Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and clinically sound assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatment and promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress to track treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to therapeutic approaches in real-time.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to addressing the mental health needs of clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
