Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Fort Oglethorpe, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, assigned post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe customer and employee activity, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational issues according to site guidelines.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with routine closing and opening procedures, and reporting hazards, damaged property, and/or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
