Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for each patient to identify their unique challenges and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices in mental health care.

• Implement creative evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies tailored to the needs of each patient to support their journey toward health.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with both company policies and state regulations.

• Conduct a minimum of 20 client visits per week, adapting approaches as necessary to meet the evolving needs of your patients.

• Actively coordinate services with a network of case managers, families, and other professionals to facilitate a comprehensive and integrated care experience for clients.

• Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative case consultations to enhance professional growth and team dynamics.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, ensuring that patient care remains the top priority.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, providing care to individuals encountering a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and emotional distress. By employing culturally sensitive approaches, you will help clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that your practice is respectful and empowering. Your goal will be to motivate clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of three years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient mental health setting.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• A commitment to working with a diverse population, employing cultural competency in therapy.

• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have undergone specialized training in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Experience in working with specific populations, such as children or LGBTQ+ individuals, is also highly valued.
