Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, examining the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to client needs.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with a range of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This includes working with diverse populations, including individuals from underrepresented groups, like refugees and those affected by homelessness or domestic violence. Your skills will contribute significantly to mitigating the barriers these populations face in accessing mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
