Part-Time Restaurant Line Cook

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable part-time Restaurant Line Cook to join our kitchen team in preparing classic American cuisine. This role offers part-time opportunities with shifts available nights, weekends, and some days. You will work in a high volume environment serving a large dining room, bar, and event spaces, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Willingness to train
Prepare food items according to standardized recipes
Set up and stock stations for service
Monitor inventory and report shortages
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain quality control of dishes
Follow safety practices to maintain a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience preferred; but not required
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong knife skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
Teamwork and clear communication skills
Adaptable with schedule for various shifts
Experience cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas

Negotiable pay based on experience
Part-Time only
Holidays off include New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Sunday & Monday, Fourth of July, Labor Day Sunday & Monday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
