Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, applying the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to guide your understanding of their mental health status.

• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate cultural considerations and specific needs of the patient population, fostering a personalized approach to care.

• Monitor client progress continually, providing necessary interventions, therapy sessions, and support strategies to ensure the effectiveness of your treatment plans.

• Document all clinical interactions, treatment records, and progress notes using cutting-edge technology in adherence to regulatory standards and practices.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient’s well-being and desired outcomes.

• Serve as a crucial resource for patients by coordinating referrals, linking them with relevant community resources, and maintaining constructive relationships with other clinicians and referral agencies.

• Participate in educational activities by mentoring students, interns, and new staff members, facilitating professional development within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents in educational settings who are navigating the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually.
