Key Responsibilities\n

The responsibilities of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at WeCare Behavioral Health include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to inform initial treatment plans.

• Working closely with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that consider their unique backgrounds and individual goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques in individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings, utilizing methods such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Providing crisis intervention services, collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure effective continuity of care for clients in acute situations.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Educating clients and their families on mental health topics to empower them in managing their conditions effectively.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to orchestrate comprehensive patient care.
