Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including initial interviews and ongoing evaluations to document client progression.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the individual needs of clients, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to guide intervention.

• Closely monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to coordinate intervention plans and crisis management.

• Follow up with clients post-discharge and work with primary caregivers to help manage ongoing mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
