This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing high-quality therapy services. Counselors will connect with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring that they can continue their practice amidst changing circumstances. While the bulk of the work will be performed remotely, occasional in-person meetings may take place at our outpatient office in Sparks when collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
\n
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to effectively address clients’ concerns.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and any modifications in client care in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies that enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and conferences to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health therapy and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Many clients come to us from underserved backgrounds, and our goal is to provide equitable access to effective mental health care. We prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where clients are encouraged to explore their thoughts and emotions openly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment, is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to forge strong therapeutic alliances with diverse populations.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms to efficiently manage client documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and availability of caseload.
