Contract Management and Operations Coordinator

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Contract Management and Operations Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator, Contract Management and Operations to support the end-to-end contract lifecycle for licensing operations. This role is responsible for reviewing deal submissions, monitoring contract workflows, maintaining data accuracy, supporting renewals and intellectual property setup, and resolving operational and system-related issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage Deal Memo submissions for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure timely approvals and maintain accurate deal and contract information
• Review proposed deals for compliance with business, financial, and legal requirements
• Guide Account Executives through Deal Memo requirements and resolve incomplete or inaccurate submissions
• Perform pre-execution contract validations
• Review commercial and financial deal structures for accuracy and data integrity
• Maintain contract workflow documentation, trackers, and operational records
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system or workflow issues
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and process improvements
• Maintain renewal trackers and support contract renewal activities
• Coordinate intellectual property setup and related operational requirements
• Resolve operational support tickets and collaborate with internal and offshore teams
• Support agent transitions, rights acquisitions, and related contract activities
• Perform data cleanup, reconciliation, and integrity analysis
• Support onboarding, training, and documentation of contract management processes
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT, and Operations teams to resolve contract-related issues
• 3-5 years of relevant licensing industry experience
• Prior media or entertainment industry experience
• Knowledge of licensing and contract management practices
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of general accounting principles
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables; VLOOKUP; XLOOKUP; Data Analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Self-motivated with strong ownership and follow-through
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Ability to review and interpret complex contract language
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent assignments

• Royalty accounting experience
• Legal affairs or contract administration experience
• Accounting or financial operations experience
