Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $46.90

What You'll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to medical and surgical patients, including telemetry monitoring, post-surgical recovery, and various cardiac procedures
- Administer non-titrating cardiac medications such as Dobutamine, Cardizem, and Heparin
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and support patients with pacemakers, CHF, dialysis, COPD, and other conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, therapists, and support staff
- Conduct phlebotomy, IV/VAT procedures, and central line care with proficiency
- Chart patient data and manage documentation efficiently within Meditech Expanse
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care
What You Need
Required:- Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Med Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, and post-surgical care
- Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR and Alaris IV pumps
- Experience with PIV, TR bands, and non-titrating cardiac gtts
