Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Plant City, FL
Pay Rate: $21.00 per Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
PRT Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting department in Plant City, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, thrives on staying organized, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

What You'll Do
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review and process customer credits
• Clear and reconcile AP Trial Balance items
• Process freight invoices and related documentation
• Verify invoice information and resolve discrepancies
• Match invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
• Assist with payment processing and vendor account maintenance
• Monitor discount opportunities and payment deadlines
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes
Qualifications
• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Experience processing invoices and expense-related transactions
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills required
• AS400 experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
