This position is set in an outpatient office setting, allowing for a flexible and remote work arrangement that suits today's evolving demands of both clients and therapists. Our work hours are established as Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which promotes a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Family Guidance & Pediatric Centers, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based clinical practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in your therapeutic sessions.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices for improved mental health outcomes.
\n
• Monitoring client progress closely and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continuously enhance your therapeutic strategies.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse populations suffering from mood disorders, including individuals facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, and psychosocial stressors. Your compassionate approach will help empower clients from various backgrounds, including vulnerable groups like the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, making a significant impact on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
