Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions for individuals seeking help with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to deliver effective and personalized counseling sessions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client sessions and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Engage in professional development opportunities, including trainings and workshops, to continuously enhance counseling skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse adult clients facing a range of psychological challenges. Our client population includes individuals experiencing stress, depression, substance abuse issues, trauma, and those requiring support with family and relationship dynamics. As an LPC at Molina, your role is crucial in fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness among clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of hands-on counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community mental health setting.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
