Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and equipment to enhance patient recovery. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and tailored activities aimed at promoting physical well-being and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to fast-track their recovery process.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as part of the treatment protocol under professional supervision.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional outcomes.
• Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies to facilitate efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure cohesive care and optimized patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional and motivational support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting a positive and encouraging environment.
• Maintain high ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting patient rights at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
