Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Will accept 4x12 scheduling
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on nights and weekends
• 32-bed unit serving adult patients
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years required in the specialty
• Epic charting system experience required
• Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start with a score of 80% or higher (two attempts allowed)
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• Provide specialized care to post-transplant patients including kidney, pancreas, and liver transplant recipients
• Work with transplant recipients and living donors from across the U.S.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary transplant team to optimize patient outcomes
• Empower patients through comprehensive education and support throughout their transplant journey
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Required skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, heparin and insulin protocols, PICC line management, wound care, and pre/post hemodialysis management
