Veterinary Technician | Emergency

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center is a leading 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital in Waukesha, WI, qualified as a VECCS Certified Level 1 Trauma Center. WVRC Waukesha is hiring a 2nd shift Veterinary Technician to support our high performing Emergency team!

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time: 3640 hours/week - Shifts start at 4pm
• Rotating weekends
• $21 per hour and up, depending on experience
• Shift differentials: $3/hr (4pm12am)
• Schedule includes every other weekend and a rotation of the holidays
• $1500 hiring bonus for Certified Veterinary Technicians!

Qualifications:

• Certified Veterinary Technicians will be given the highest consideration
• Experienced Veterinary Technicians and Vet Tech students are encouraged to apply
• At least 1 year of technician experience (ER experience a plus)
• Comfortable with restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing care
• Motivated, collaborative, and committed to exceptional patient care
