Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $28.00 to $34.00 per hour.



Job Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable vendor and intercompany invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare accounts payable payment journals and checks for disbursement to vendors.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve issues to ensure smooth payment processing.
• Perform daily reconciliation between accounts payable and the bank statement to maintain accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals required during the month-end closing process.

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Display knowledge of or experience with AX Dynamics and D365 (preferred, but not required).
• Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle vendor statement research and account analysis.
• Show excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Have experience assisting in the preparation of accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Maintain accounts payable files and print relevant reports as required.
• Prepare analysis of accounts and assist with year-end file preparation, including 1099 forms.
• Assist with special projects as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive attitude.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
