About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Finance to take on a pivotal role with overall responsibility for the finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be a key business partner, interfacing with the CEO, senior management team, bank lenders, and the Board of Directors. This hands-on, analytical, and commercially oriented finance leader will oversee financial reporting, accounting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls. The role also involves identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance profitability, working capital, cash generation, and overall business performance. The VP Finance will be instrumental in leading the financial close, ensuring compliance with financial requirements, and developing and maintaining operating dashboards and KPIs. Applicants for the VP Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in a manufacturing or industrial technology business, particularly in a PE-backed or growth-oriented environment. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of financial management, the ability to translate financial information into business insights, and experience in financial modeling and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving financial systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, and the candidate should be a high-integrity, hands-on leader with a strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
